We are working with various schools across the area on the PINS Project (Partnership for Inclusion in Schools), which is led by Health Services.

PINS is now in its second year, and provides very useful tools and training to selected schools, for free, to transform the culture of the school to be inclusive and accessible to neurodivergent children and young people.

PINS offers selected schools a menu of opportunities for them to choose from depending on their training needs and the makeup of their student body. One of the options is coffee mornings with parents, facilitated by Dorset Parent Carer Council, to improve relationships with and the integration of parents and families of neurodivergent students.

If your child’s school is part of the PINS project and they choose the coffee morning option, you should be notified of the session so you can attend.
