Set up by parents and carers for parents and carers this event, now in it’s 5th year, will give you the opportunity to meet the organisations and services that your young person may be involved with as they move into adulthood. Teenager 2 Adult is a ‘transition’ information event. It’s for parents and carers of young people with Special Educational Needs or Disability aged 13-25 and in college, mainstream school or special school. The young people are also welcome to visit.

We hope it will help you find answers to some of the questions we all face about things such as education options, funding, benefits, housing choices, equipment and the other services that are involved as our young people move from ’children’s services’ into the adult world. The event is being held at Kingston Maurward College (DT2 8PY) on Tuesday 8th November 2016, at 12 noon - 6pm. You can download the PDF flyer for the event here.
